Dan saw that talented people he knew were struggling with their job search. Having been-there-done-that he knew that the easiest way to navigate unemployment is with a buddy or even a group of people going through the same thing. He pulled his friends together and from there PJC was created.
Dan is Principal Product Manager at H-E-B and Product Management Instructor at General Assembly. He’s a Certified Scrum Product Owner and Certified Scrum Professional with almost 20 years of product development experience. Dan is also the founder of The Product League meetup, co-organizer of the Agile Austin Product SIG, instructor for Agile Austin U, and a frequent contributor to other local meetups.
Caroling Lee

Caroling was Dan’s original Funemployment Buddy. The experience they shared is what sparked Dan to start the PJC.
Caroling has been leading digital projects for more than 15 years. She has managed more than 200 digital projects ranging from website design/redesigns, SaaS tools, e-commerce implementations, mobile apps and more. She started her digital career at Discovery Channel as a Producer for discoveryhealth.com. Since then, she’s been on internal teams at Dell and Honeywell and various agencies and consultancies. She’s a Certified Scrum Master and is currently a Program Manager at Part Time Evil, an AR/VR Mobile App Studio. When she’s not herding cats, she’s planning her next trip and getting outside.
Andrew Overby
Andrew is a Certified Scrum Product Owner and a highly agile thinker who revels in bringing new ideas to life. Driven to create & implement best practices. INTJ.
In addition to his day job in technology, he is creating a real estate enterprise to benefit a distressed area in the heart of Texas.
Andrew is also re-creating an e-commerce brand whose mission is to import high-quality stitched leather belts from Argentina and market them to American consumers.

Aneesa is a Product Marketing Manager for an Austin software company. Knowing that Tech Sales wasn't the end career goal, she spent a year attending, leading, and learning around town in order to take her previous skills and experience into the product world. Product Job Club allowed her to have the support and continuous conversations that made the transition a reality.
Ben Messner
As an Agile certified Product Manager and leadership development expert, Ben thrives at the intersection of product and people and his passion is using data-driven technology to improve people’s lives. For more than 15 years he has led the development of people, products, and client success for startups and large enterprises.
Over the last 18 months, Ben have managed teams responsible for launching two consumer products, two B2B data products, and two B2C legacy product upgrades, as well as releasing my own product called the Reflection Ritual.

Cem is a Product Manager at Charles Schwab’s Conversational Platforms team. Prior to joining Schwab, Cem led the product for 2 start-ups he co-founded and had one exit via a merger. Cem is a Certified Product Owner and an avid audiobook/podcast listener. He is a part owner of a successful eSports team and helps European professional athletes when they first move to USA.
Darren Smith
Darren is a Product Manager, currently attending the MSTC Executive Masters program at the University of Texas McCombs School of Business. Like many product managers, Darren has a varied career background, most recently as the Sales and Marketing Director of Camp Champions and co-founder of Live Athlete, a sports-related tech startup. A 5th generation Texan, Darren is committed to helping the product community right here in Austin.
Jessica Jinkins
Jessica Jinkins empowers people and organizations to maximize their impact through technology. Her experience spans from building core strategies alongside founding teams to managing complex programs at the enterprise scale.
Currently serving as US Central Lead for the Partner Advisor Incubation team, Jessica designs programs to enable technology consultancies in going to market with Google Cloud.

John Cannady
John does Project and Product Management at the NCC Group, where he works on expert security services. His experience includes extensive work leading a hardware-software team, driving product strategy, roadmaps, team communication, team organization, and Agile methodologies. Additionally, John is a student in the MSTC Executive Masters program at the University of Texas McCombs School of Business.

Nancy is an entrepreneur driven by her passion for people and products. She has over ten years of experience in B2B, B2C, product development, distribution, and customer service. Nancy is also the founder and product manager for TravelBaby, a medical tourism consulting and concierge company serving those traveling abroad for fertility treatments. She is a bookworm and lover of all things food, wine, and travel.
